제조사들은 대부분 망하거나 , 지원을 끊은 상태 이지요.
게다가 Windows VISTA 64bit 에서는 이런 TV 카드들을 사용 할 수 있는 방법이 도저히 없었습니다.
그래서 열심히 찾았습니다.
그리고 뭔가 실마리를 찾았죠.
영어만 보면 쥐나는 분들을 위해서 친근한 한글로 번역해 놨습니다.

I have the driver for x64 XP but it won't work in x64 Vista.
나에게 64비트 XP 를 위한 드라이버가 있는데 Vista 64비트에서 돌지를 않아요.

I'm in the same boat.
I've searched for drivers also but none seem to work.
ATI is supposed to be coming out with some for their TV cards, but none are released yet.
Hopefully they will be out soon- maybe by the time RC1 comes out.
If anyone finds something that works please post-

ATI 는 자사 제품들을 위해 뭔가 내놓은게 있는데 아직 릴리즈가 되질 않았더군요.
RC1판 이라도 좀 내놔 주길 기대하고 있어요.

what kind of bt878? i have a kworld 878 tv card chipset conexant fusion bt878a and didn't managed to make it work.
can you post the driver that works on x64?
어떤 종류의 BT878 인가요? 제가 콘넥션트 사의 BT878A 를 사용한 KWRORLD 878 티비 카드를 가지고 있는데 지원을 받을 수가 없더군요.

I have also a bt878 Tv card, wich not work with my x64 Vista
I have sent a mail to my Board/chip manufacturer (x86 vista drivers are relased, but no x64 ) to now, if a x64 driver will be relased and when :x
Now I await an answer of the manufacturer.
i post the answer here when i receive it
( I may seek for a good , english/french translater to translate the answer of manufacturer )

Ive also got a bt878 based tuner, these are a really popular chipset,
I was kinda surprised when I found it was supported in x86 but not 64bit.
hopefully it wont be long.

만약 32비트가 아닌 64비트 드라이버를 지원하는 곳을 찾게 된다면 대단할거 같습니다.

include "test" certificate ( open Readme-FIRST.txt )
next will be driver for MCE

I have a hauppauge wintv-pci fm (bt878) and did the installation according to the readme.
the audio capture driver installs fine but the video driver gives me this error:
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.
The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
any idea what I'm doing wrong.

오디오 캡쳐 드라이버 설치 는 되는데 비디오 드라이버 쪽에서 다음 오류가 뜨더군요:

code 39 mean vista will not load/start "untrusted" driver
open command prompt
and run bcdedit /set testsigning on
reboot
you will seen "Testing mode" over desktop but will work :)

비스타에서 코드39가 의미하는 바는 "신뢰하지 못한" 드라이버 란 의미 입니다.
커맨드 프롬프트를 열으신 다음 bcdedit /set testsigning on 을 입력해 주세요.
그리고 재부팅 하시면 화면에 "테스팅 모드" 라는 글이 보이긴 하지만 작동은 할겁니다.

3: Open a command prompt as an administrator.

However I still have to do the "F8 - Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" anyway to get DScaler working and actually watch TV with my now recognized TV-Tuner...
Does anybody know about tv tuner software that works without or comes with its own signed driver?
Or even better: any news on the MCE-version of btwincap-x64?

any software should work like chris-tv (http://www.chris-tv.com/) or any use WDM driver
for MCE need complete new driver and i am working on it
어떤것이든 간에 크리스-티비 에서 제공하는 WDM 드라이버와 소프트웨어를 사용 할 수 있어 보입니다.
저는 잘 쓰고 있어요.

Just exporting the MS certificate won't be enough,
you have to obtain a Software Publisher Certificate (SPC) which is cross-signed by M$ to make drivers work in a non-testing environment.
Good luck with that MCE-driver!
MS의 서명을 가져오는것 만으로는 충분하지 않습니다.
소프트웨어 생산자 서명(SPC) 를 포함해야만 하는 일이 있거든요. 이건 MS 와 함께 드라이버를 제작해야만 가능한 일입니다.
MCE 용 드라이버를 잘 만드실 수 있길 바래요!

Im not sure what im doing wrong,
when i try to install the driver it says its invalid,
ive installed the certificate, ive gone through card options in the ini, i just dont get it.
ive tried with a hauppauge wintv go (878) and a ati tv wonder (878).
my guess it something is wrong in the ini but i cant figure out what the problem is.
제 생각엔 제가 뭔가 잘못한거 같진 않아요.
설치를 하려니 드라이버가 잘못 되었다고 나오네요.
서명을 설치하고 ini 를 모두 수정했거든요.
하푼지 윈티비 고(878칩셋) 제품과 ATi TV 원더 제품에 설치 해 보려고 있습니다.
제 생각엔 ini 에 뭔가 잘못 수정된거 같은데 뭘 잘못했는지를 모르겠어요.

I have "Pinnacle PCTV Pro". When I installed this driver, there was only a BLUE screen in tuner. But S-Video and Composite works.
Can someone give me advice, which setting has "Pinnacle PCTV Pro", please?

Ok I managed ot install video and audio capture drivers, but the blue screen is in every program (composite capture works)
Now I got 1 question, when i was installing that card in win xp, there were some "conexant crossbar and conexant tuner" drivers installed in device manager, but in vista there's nothing like it.
maybe that is the reason why we cant use tuner and search for channels?! Any possible solutions?
weeeee i've re-installed and now it works!! :D
But now i got picture with no sound lol, all i hear is short noise while changing chanels no matter if i connect the tuner line out to line-in or with speakers on tuner line out jack, t
ried every option, volume control and nothing :/ dunno whats the prob :(

채널을 바꿀때 마다 노이즈가 들리는데 튜너에 선을 제대로 꼽고 라인인에 연결한거는 확인했거든요.
다 해 봐도 볼륨 조절같은거로 아무것도 안들려요.
어떻게 해야 하나요?

Man I went through so much crap trying to get my tuner working,
tried hooking my cable box up by firewire, bought a new one (Pinnacle HDTV Stick,
said it was vista ready on the box, not 64 yet appearently),
then finally stumbled upon this post.
Followed the instructions to the letter and it worked like a champ on Vista x64 with a Hauppauge WinTV Go 878.
The only thing I could add is that KMPlayer works with the WDM drivers above. Pretty killer media player.

hello,
scuse me for my english, i am french...
i have a wintv express by hauppage with a bt878 chipset. my os is vista 64 bits.
when i try to install my vidéo card with conexant's ptpci 878 amd64 driver for vista my audio capture is ok but my video capture say error code 39. so when i try with the methode who consist to run in test mode it's okay but i can't watch tv with k!tv or shoshifter, my source of capture is composite or svideo, i have not tuner... . then when i quit the test mode the error 39 come back...
i don't understand....please help me. thanks !

실제 구동에 대해서는 직접 집에서 해 봐야 겠습니다.
오늘 득템한 대만 AverMedia 사의 AverTV 제품을 비스타64 에서 돌려 봐야죠~
